Chemical and refinery plant outages can prove costly for a company. Not only can an entire staff be displaced during the outage, but out-of-town crews assist-ing with the outage require housing, meal and transportation accommodations for the duration of the outage. Deployed Resources’ business continuity solutions provide the answer to both issues.
Deployed Resources provides 100-percent custom solutions for business continuity. Hard and soft wall camps provide living accommodations and amenities for crews and can be set up on-site to eliminate any costly transportation. These camps provide everything necessary for any duration of time, including climate-controlled housing, office space for administrative personnel, restrooms, showers, self-serve laundry facilities, fully equipped gyms, dining facilities, mobile kitchens, and the ServSafe-certified staff’s award-winning and chef-prepared food service. Camps also supply a full communication system, including satellite and Wi-Fi, 24/7 security, and janitorial and maintenance services.
In addition to setting up camp and breaking down the area upon outage completion, Deployed Resources will also work within all local codes and regulations and with plant staff to obtain all necessary licenses and permits. It provides standalone potable water systems and gray water storage systems, as well as offers solutions that connect to existing on-site systems in accordance with local codes. All operations are conducted in compliance with applicable environmental regulations.
Deployed Resources works in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 pro-grams as well as stringent site-specific health and safety requirements. Daily quality control inspections are conducted throughout the project. At the conclusion of the contract, all equipment will be expeditiously removed from the site, and the site will be restored to original conditions. The Deployed Resources’ staff will assist with donating excess food to local banks and charity events to help promote a sense of social responsibility.
The company’s staff is experienced in working in sensitive areas with heightened safety, security and confidentiality requirements. All staff members are background checked, drug free, OSHA trained and have TWIC cards. You can use the Deployed Resources’ Base Camp Calculator — on the website or download the app — to calculate the mini-mum quantities of components that would be required during your outage.
